#SpeakUp and unite for queer rights

Be an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community and support the fundraiser. All the donations will go directly to the ACLU, an American organization that defends human rights nationwide.

About the fundraiser

Since 2015, the political movement against LGBTQIA+ people has grown significantly. In America, there are more than 450 anti-LGBTQIA+ bills. Including banning drag performances, the use of the pronouns they and them in schools and gender-affirming health care for transgender youth.

These developments mean that human rights are being violated. This is not only happening in America. There are anti-LGBTQIA+ movements in European countries. In Poland are LGBTQIA+ free zones and in Hungary is a ban on the representation of homosexuals. Worldwide, there are 68 countries where homosexuality and homosexual acts are still punishable. In some even with the death sentence.

Our Founder and CEO, Julie Hemels – Hoff (she/her), wants to take action. In the summer of 2023, she will walk a challenging hike to raise awareness and money to support the work of ACLU. ACLU is an American NGO that defends human rights nationwide. Also, specifically LGBTQIA+ rights.

She needs your help. Show that you stand for queer rights. Show that you are an ally. It’s not enough to just attend pride or change the company logo colour. Show that you support the queer community when it matters. The goal is to raise $100,000 before the end of Amsterdam Pride in August 2023. Donate through the Go Fund Me page or contact me about other ways you can help.
